Help From Others

I am putting this up here to remind people that no matter what you do that YOU can NEVER be successful on your own. When you are trying to do something one your own, YOU WILL inevitably fail. Every single person who has had some kind of success in their life had someone that helped them out, even if the only someone that helped them was God, Jesus, or the Holy Ghost. Face it we need help to survive and make it, and anyone that thinks otherwise will be alone, fat, lazy and without enjoying thier life. Also, we need to help other people to succeed, the circle is a vicious one and goes against the cutthroat look out for number one mentality that has been drilled into our society. When we stop looking out for number one and start looking out for other, we inevitably feel better and when we feel better, we are more productive, more motivated, and people want to be around us more. So get help when you need it and give help to those who are less fortunate than you and the world you live in becomes a better place. People who live in better places have less stress, which equals less cortizon and eventually the poundage comes off more easily.

Finally broke it......

I finally broke the 2 pound a week mark. Or rather the Holy Ghost gave me the strength to get down there. See, once God showed me that my problem was psychological, and that psychology deals with the soul not the mind. I knew than what I had to do. I grew in an environment that wasn't anti-God but it was anti-Christian or more to the point anti-Relational. Now what does this have to do with weightloss, EVERYTHING. See, God places or allows us to struggle with things as we mature in faith and get stronger. I discovered this week the true power to successfully rid yourself of any traces of demonic activity and that is prayer.
I incorporated prayer into my study life, and into my weightloss routine and within two days I lost a whopping 8 lbs. Now, you can say it was the elimination of sodas, not eating crap foods, the heavy workouts etc etc. I know though that it is through Christ that I (can beat) all things, and through the power of prayer, God gave me the strength to move forward on my weight loss program. So if you are overweight, and not hitting the success you want, look at your prayer life. You may just need God to rescue you from a sin or two, and then things start to flow naturally again. Oh and I can finally button my dress pants, now to go job hunting;)

Proper Hydration

I equate proper hydration for the human body to proper inflation of a car tire. Have you ever driven on underinflated tires? Well, if you have then you would know that by not having the proper air pressure the tire slags, slowing the car down, and causing you to burn more fuel. When dehydrated, your body shuts down. WHat this means is that your normal bodily functions that promote digestive health, and getting rid of toxins starts to become lax. The result is you get fatter and more sluggish and downright almost lethargic. The cure drink plenty of just plain water. A gallon to a gallon of half a day should do; unless of course you are working out or active then drink more. Replacing your fluids with soda, Gatorade, kool aid and the like in time can cause your body to not just slow down but these empty calorie products also helps one to absorbs too many calories. A soda a day can add up to a pound of fat in a month.....
